The key to Jamie’s approach to weddings is to be as unobtrusive as possible. He starts every commission weeks, months or even years ahead of the big day day by meeting the couple to get an idea of their personalities and their aspirations for the images they want to see when looking back through the album in years to come.

Jamie’s work tells the story of the day, even if he is only covering a few select parts. Many couples see their album for the first time and are surprised by all the small events that have been captured which they were too excited to notice at the time! It’s always a good idea to take some formal shots (there’s generally an Aunt or Uncle that make a fuss about having the ‘real’ wedding photo for their album) but this part of the shoot is kept to a short period on the day to make sure no one is waiting too long to hit the champagne.

‘Jamie and Kirsty’s Wedding’ below demonstrates how we are able to tell the story of your day – (It isn’t the same Jamie, it’s just a very common name!)
